Nay Palad Bird Nest – Description by NAY PALAD.

NAY PALAD Launches Bird Nest at Kenya’s SEGERA RETREAT: the world’s Smallest Luxury Hotel—and Largest Bird Nest!

NAY PALAD, creator of artisanal magical destinations and objects, proudly announces the launch of the NAY PALAD Bird Nest – a one-of-a-kind accommodation at Kenya’s award winning SEGERA Retreat. Built alongside a river teeming with wildlife, the NAY PALAD Bird Nest offers a breathtaking escape in which one’s dreams can seamlessly intermingle with nature as never before.

Set in the heart of the sprawling plains of Laikipia, one of Kenya’s most iconic safari locations, conservationist Jochen Zeitz has fashioned an exclusive destination where the excitement of adventure naturally melds with quiet contemplation amongst the majesty of Africa’s bounty.

A refuge where one can breathe in deeply the sweetness of freedom and the comfort of total safety. A sanctuary where alone, or in good company, one is always at rest surrounded with the purity of wildlife and the warmth of the African sun. Where, by day or by night, Kenya’s thickly woven canopy of stars stretches into the horizon and fills the humble viewer with awe and delight.

To bring their vision to life, the team turned to NAY PALAD architect Daniel Pouzet, whose joyful, imaginative approach to design took their idea of a nest both literally and figuratively. Pouzet has created a space unlike anything else in the world. Guests sit perched above the treetops in a camouflaged wooden castle amongst the endless Kenyan bush. Here, one is simply part of it all. The NAY PALAD Bird Nest defies description and, only through direct experience of this haven, is one able to taste sublime unity with nature.
