GSA & Boogertman + Partners International Lecture Series 2017: Thomas Chapman
This series creates an opportunity for architectural students, professionals and those with a keen interest in architecture to hear and interact with world-class local and international speakers, whilst building a great platform for new African design voices.
There is capacity for 120 guests at each event, so come early to avoid disappointment. The lecture has been validated by the Gauteng Institute for Architecture, a Region of SAIA (GIfA) as a 0,3 CPD credit activity.
Funded by Boogertman + Partners, Saint-Gobain and Tonic, the full lecture series aims to examine the premise that architecture offers a far broader scope than just the making of buildings.
Special lectures in this series are generously supported additionally by PPC Cement, Paragon Architects, LYT Architecture, Arup & SACAP.
The first of the GSA Boogertman + Partners International lecture series was held in August 2016 at the Museum of African Design (MOAD), and featured guest speaker, Kunlé Adeyemi.
Boogertman + Partners Architects was established in 1982. With offices in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and Kenya, the practice engages in projects throughout Africa by continually embracing social, economic, and functional challenges through “Excellence by Design”.
