REDIFINING AFRICAN HOSPITALITY
13th Edition Hotelier Summit–Africa would witness the gathering of hundreds of thoughtful, iconoclastic leaders from around the continent that include C-suite investors, Govt. officials, high networth individuals, hotel owners & developers, hotel operators, architects, interior designers, project management consultants, design consultants, procurement professionals, advisory specialists and sustainability experts.
These fore-runners share the common vision of identifying practical solutions for sustainable development of the tourism and hospitality industry of Northern and Western Africa. An area that we see continually strapped to the back-bench is the financial planning, and project execution and more importantly the implementation of sustainable measures. We seek to radically change this through engaging in actionable conversations with people who walk the talk. Our vision is ambitious, which is nothing less than to develop Northern and Western Africa in such a manner that every African has a home of his own and Africa is looked up to as the most progressive regions of growth in the global real estate map.
The 10th Edition Hotelier Summit held at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa was confluence of the key contributors to the hospitality sector in Sub-Saharan Africa from countries such as South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya.
The 10th Edition Hotelier Summit also saw the inclusion of Honorarium Grand 2017, recognizing the key contributors to the hospitality industry in the Sub- Saharan Region as well as the inception of Hospitality Power list, profiling the honored individual on the global hospitality map.
Delegates such as the CEO of Sujimoto Constructions and CEO of Resorts & Cities Kenya addressed the gathering of global suppliers and investors, outlining their long list of requirements both from an investment perspective and the supply chain perspective. Other delegates who attended the event includes South African Minister of Tourism, Director of Department of Economic Development of City of Johannesburg, CEO of Randburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nigerian Minister of Economic Development and CEOs of hotel groups such as Sun International, Chatur Group of companies, Master Assets Investment and Sun Africa Hotels to name a few.
In the 13th Edition Hotelier Summit, Africa we intend to host the Honorarium Grand on a larger scale, recognizing the key contributors to the hospitality industry in Northern and Western Africa and in turn revealing the Hospitality Power List for the year 2017.
